Lewis and Clark Project
Lewis and Clark Expedition: Partner Project
In the early 19th century, Meriwether Lewis and William Clark set out on an expedition to explore the newly purchased Louisiana Territory and the northwestern parts of North America. Along the way, they encountered Native American tribes, cataloged new plant and animal species, and mapped important geographic features. This project will deepen your understanding of the expedition’s challenges, discoveries, and significance.
