Chapter 5 Response

I would agree that starting a new research project can be stressful because of information overload. I think for the most part it is not the research part that causes stress, but more so the open-endedness of the project. For example, last year in English class Mrs. Corbett would dedicate a week or two at a time for various parts of writing a research paper. One week may be finding information, the next may be creating citations and figuring out what sources to use. Another week may be creating an outline and then a rough draft. This broken down method made the writing process much smoother and I feel as though I created a strong research paper without too much unnecessary stress or anxiety during the process.
