Chapters 9/10 Response

The tone you set when conveying your speaking topic is a indicator of the seriousness that you will be bringing to your speech. I think that for a serious speech or a speech on a topic that contains more weight more respect should be granted to it. This may be in for of physical appearance, tone of voice, or the amount of humor in said speech. I think as well for lighter topics using contrast of a more serious tone or demeanor may have a positive affect and showcase the sillyness of a topic.
