This video talks about how humans tend to pay more attention to the bad things in life. Specifically, as it relates to the news, humans tend to listen about negative things like war and natural disasters. Because humans are like this the news portrays it. However, what the news rarely shows are the positive outcomes of innovation and invention. Poverty is lower than it has ever been. More people have food. More people have or are getting an education. Sadly, the media prefers to focus on the negative things since more people will watch. It's important to understand that free markets have helped people so much despite what it seems like from the media.
