You will also need:

·       Visual Aid: poster, keynote, video, skit, props, etc.

·       Chart/ Graph/ visual representation of a survey

Grades:

·       Arguments written out on paper: due by _____________________

·       Note cards for each speaker (individual)

·       Group Evaluation Grade

Structure of the argument:

o   Opening Statement: 30 seconds- 1 minute

o   Main Argument: 2-4 minutes

o   Rebuttal and cross-examination: 2-4 minutes

o   Closing argument 30 seconds-1 minute 

Everyone must speak or play a role on the day of the debate!

Extra Credit:

            If you notice the other side has a fallacy, record it to mention in your rebuttal.
