Know the difference between depressants and stimulants and their effects on the body.

 

Know what hallucinogens are (what they do to the body).

 

Can legal drugs (those prescribed by a doctor) be bad for you?

 

What effects can illegal drugs have on the body?

 

How does smokeless tobacco get into your system?

 

Besides physical problems, know other problems that arise because of smoking.

 

Can smoking effect a kid’s life?  How?

 

Know the 3 steps to take against tobacco.

 

Know the accident chain (5 steps) and how to break it (3 ways).

 

Be prepared to answer questions about prevention in certain circumstances (fire prevention, gun safety, electrical safety, etc.).

 

What is one way that you can stay safe when you are outside (out of the 3 discussed at the end of class Tuesday)?
