For this project, students will be researching a particular state and discussing its involvement in the Civil War. This project will take about 4 weeks of class time. Students will have 3 major items to create over that time...

1st- Test grade equivalent: Research Essays. Students will write a research essay based on their study of their chosen state.Β 

2nd- Quiz Grade equivalent: Poster. Students will create a poster that highlights their state's involvement in the War.

3rd- Presentation: Quiz Grade equivalent: Student will create a slideshow presentation that informs classmates' about their chosen state.Β
