Old West Project

For this project, students will be utilizing the Time Life reference book series entitled "The Old West". Each student will a select a book from the series and prepare a slideshow presentation overviewing things that they found interesting and informative. Additionally, students will have a writing assignment where they discuss what they've learned.

For the slideshow-

Students will prepare slides that answer the questions:

1. Why I chose this book
2. What I learned that surprised me
3. What I think the author's 2-3 main points were
4. Summarize two interesting stories
5. Include 5 interesting pictures and include a brief explanation of why you chose each. 

For the writing portion of the project, students will be asked a broad question about what they learned from their book. They will write their response in class, locked down on moodle.
