A Hypothetical Situation

What (hypothetically) would happen when an econ class and their teacher (for the sake of the argument) overthrow Trudeau (in Minecraft, of course) and a socialist regime (not real btw)? Let's be serious here. If this would happen, I think we might have the most economically advantageous government of all time, perhaps even more so than early America. I believe that, If that teacher, on paper, were Professor Weaver and that class was his 2nd period dual credit Econ class, the markets would be more free than that fast break open layup that never goes in (you know what I'm talking about).

What a silly hypothetical! This is a really great point, in game of course. I feel that taking our class to overthrow the basically socialist regime that is Justin Trudeau and the Canadian government and annexing them would be extremely beneficial for American economic purposes (not real btw lol). The freedom of our markets would rival that of RuneScape, and the Canadian regime would have to bow before Professor Weaver and his DC Econ class (in RuneScape ofc). I am interested to hear our Professor's opinion on this matter.

We're definitely on a list now, so thanks for that.

Anyways, I appreciate the humor here, so let me humor you.

What you are asking for here is regime change, which has been the policy of the CIA for decades. While this seems like we are doing a country a favor, this has always inevitably ended in the countries we intervene in being worse off. See: any country we've been involved with in the Middle East. Furthermore, this occupation typically comes with the cost of the occupied using terrorism to either dissuade the occupation, or to lure the occupying power into a bankrupting war. See Osama Bin Laden bankrupting the Soviet Union with their occupation of Afghanistan in 1980s and the trillions that the US government spent in Afghanistan for the first two decades of the 2000s (in this case Osama did both). This is not to handwave away the evil acts of terrorists, but to point out a similar practical wisdom that can be found in Proverbs 6:32-34.

He who commits adultery lacks sense;
he who does it destroys himself.
He will get wounds and dishonor,
and his disgrace will not be wiped away.
For jealousy makes a man furious,
and he will not spare when he takes revenge.

It is important to note the author of Proverbs is not condoning the revenge, but merely explaining how sinful people respond to being sinned against.

The foreign policy version would read as such:

He who commits regime change lacks sense;
he who does it destroys himself.
He will get wounds and dishonor,
and his disgrace will not be wiped away.
For occupation makes a man furious,
and he will not spare when he takes revenge.
