As Christians, do we assume that the invisible hand concept is God? Do we believe that God is what is allowing the process to start?
Since the invisible hand is what economists refer to as individuals serving the greater good despite only serving their self-interests, I would hesitate to say yes if you mean it literally - God is not people working together. That said, if you take a step back and say the statement more broadly in that God providentially uses the self-interest of individuals to provide for his creation, then I would agree. We say the same thing about nature in that all of the ecological systems are what God uses to provide for the sustenance of creatures in the wild.
