I understand the reasoning as to why Cambodia's tariff is so high, but why does that matter to us? What does Cambodia send to the U.S. that they now will basically have to pay double to export to us, and is it so important that they choose to pay this insane tariff?

The amount Cambodia pays to export to us is not impacted by tariffs the US government puts on Cambodia - tariffs are paid by American citizens to bring the product into our borders. If Americans cannot pay this tariff, it means we cannot afford the goods and services that make our life better, and enable us to produce the things we do produce at home.
