One of my speech craft role models is Jon Moody, the assistant pastor at my church. Over the course of getting to hear him give lots of sermons, he became a person that I looked forward to hearing from. Not only when he is talking in front of the whole congregation, but also when I simply have conversations with him afterward. He is very prepared, organized, intellectual, and well spoken. He does a great job at explaining information well and drawing good connections. He has a talent for engaging his audience in a lighthearted way, but also giving us meaningful topics to think about throughout our week.
