To create a balance of logic and feeling in a speech, I think it's important to have equal portions of both, or to present logical conclusions in an emotional way. If the speaker has equal portions of emotional appeal and logical facts, then helps the listener feel balanced as well. Logic helps the listener to not see the speaker as a speaker with a lot of emotional fluff and no sustenance. Feeling makes the speaker not look like a robot. Stepping too far in one direction can make a speaker lose an audience. To present logic in a passionate and emotional way is really powerful. Also telling true anecdotes that provoke an emotional response can help an audience to relate and trust a speaker. Having an equal balance of logic and feeling helps a speaker present a message more clearly to an audience.
