I wanted to give a speech about watermelon. I had randomly talked about watermelon because I decided to practice how I would form a speech. I created a speech about watermelon. Then I decided that I had an opportunity to talk about anything to the class so I wanted it to matter. I asked myself what I thought the class needed to hear and what I needed to hear. Then I decided it was that everyone needs to reed the Bible more.

For the information speech I wanted it to be something of value. I prayed about it. I had mentioned some Bible stories in my opinion speech. I chose one of those to talked about.

I see myself asking that same question as for my opinion speech for all speeches I will give whether in this class or for another reason. It puts my thoughts in the right direction of thinking what I can talk about that is of value. I can talk about many things very easily that have no value. That is why this question is helpful to me.

Wisely stated, my friend. Prayer is a great way to start anything, as God will help those who ask for it.
