I do agree with the claim that students have information overload during research. I definitely experienced this during research for the junior research paper. One thing that really helps narrow down the amount of information thrown at you is to use Proquest. I chose such an obscure topic that it wasn't really on Proquest but if it was that would have been really helpful.

Yes, sometimes when choosing a topic that is not very popular it is hard to find research on it. I have struggled with that before and it has really gotten me into a pickle when doing papers. Thanks for sharing Faye!

Yes, I would totally agree. My research paper and my informative speech were kind of similar, and I remember experiencing some stress from that because there was so much information. I also used ProQuest, most of the time that doesn't work for me, but last year it really made a difference in the amount of information I was getting. It really narrowed it down.

I remember being really stressed about my junior research paper as well, but Proquest was really helpful to find the kind of information that I needed.

I would totally agree with you about our junior research paper. Proquest is a great resource to use when your topic is on there.
