I don't think bias is always bad. You will never get away from your bias, so the best thing to do is look at other sides of your argument and reflect on what the opposite side is saying. Our biases reflect who we are as people and our experiences in life. We shouldn’t let them hinder us when looking at new ideas; we need to keep an open mind to other perspectives, otherwise biases aren’t a good thing.
