I believe that PowerPoints are very helpful when giving speeches because they can be used in very good ways. for example when you are giving a speech you will most likely want to show the audience something and using a PowerPoint is perfect for that. PowerPoints can also not be good because sometimes they will be used in the wrong way or they will take the attention away from you and have the audience only be focused on the PowerPoint. overall I believe that PowerPoints are a great tool when giving a speech as long as you don't do things with it that will make it not useful or too overwhelming to the audience.
