I have been to a couple of funerals in my life. One in particular was when my grandpa died, we had one of his best friends speak at his funeral. The audience expected him to reflect on his relationship with my grandpa, as well as tie in some spiritual elements. The speech was a big success, and he did a great job in inspiring us. When someone dies, especially abruptly, it is easy to be angry, that is why it is important for the speaker to inspire the audience to recognize that death is a part of life, and it can be used for good.
