Chapter 13 Response

     One ceremony I attended, where I clearly remember the speeches, was at the National Honors Society (NHS) induction last year. Four current members of NHS were asked to give speeches at the ceremony. I remember each of the speeches being very well written and spoken. The audience expected to hear speeches of encouragement and goodwill, and I think that all the speakers portrayed that well. The speeches were all very successful and they all pulled the audience in and kept them engaged.
