After looking at the graph, it was interesting to compare between the different demographics. For example, the overall unemployment rate for whites is significantly less than the rate for African Americans. It is also interesting to see that there used to be much greater of a difference between the men and women unemployment rates between 2008 and 2012. However before 2008 and in the years after 2012, the difference is slim, besides a small change during 2020. It is also easily recognizable to find that the total overall unemployment rates skyrocketed during the year 2020 due to COVID.
I agree, the graph shows how unemployment jumped in 2020 because of COVID and how different groups are affected differently over time.
