Chapter 8 Analyze and Respond

My economic claim is that the U.S. economy is doing pretty well right now because unemployment is low. The graph shows the unemployment rate is around 4 percent, which means most people who want a job can find one. Compared to times in the past when unemployment was much higher, this shows the job market is strong. Low unemployment usually means people have money to spend, businesses can hire, and the economy is generally healthy.
