By looking at the graph about long term employment, there is a steep decrease in percentage of unemployed people for more than 27 weeks. When something like COVID happens and people lose their jobs, they are more motivated to either keep their job or once released, look for work quicker. In 2020, only 4% of the unemployed stayed unemployed for more than 27 weeks.
