Trade Deficit

Bob Murphy's main argument with the U.S's trade deficit, is that its not a bad thing. Essentially when the U.S stopped attributing actual value for U.S dollars, the Gold Standard, our currency become the Gold Standard for every other nation essentially, which, yes, made the United States the hub for lending money to other countries and being the main country most go to for currency exchange, because the American Dollar has the most value attributed to it. Connecting it to the Bible, Murphy tells us that God knew about the notion in Deuteronomy, and used it to represent a nations flourishing and dominion over other nations. He didn't know about economic theory, but knew how it could be represented in the future and past through different interpretations.

I think this is really good. I like how you incorporated the parts about the US being the new standard and how the US has become huge when it comes to lending money and currency exchange. Good job Luke!
