The critique of Keynes’ economic policies is that he only blinds himself to the negative effects and makes the problem worse. Similar to the idea that if you distract people like in Rome with bread and circuses they will not see the flaws that surround them and leave the power to act powerful. His response is because Keynes’ ideas are attractive because of how unhealthy they are. They are the gluttonous desires of people in an economy and are allowed to grow without punishment. Austrian economic policies are unattractive because they make individuals act responsibly.
