     The paradox of thrift is the idea that if everyone saves money the economy will fail. If everyone started saving more money, less money would be spent on goods and services. The companies providing those goods and services would be making less money so they would have to lower wages and even fire employees. Because the wages would be lower, people would then have less money to save.

I see the one side of the argument that saving money could result in a worse economy, however, banks can loan the money or you can target a different audience to sell to. This makes it that saving money now, could not result in spending less money later.
