Chapter 16 Watch & Post Only (DB 14)

It is horrendous to hear them say that the wealthy are really the only people benefiting from economic freedom. A fair point by one of the gentlemen’s remarks about politicians only giving solutions for the short run, which ultimately only lead to more security but less freedom. They focus on enlarging the government and the leader’s power rather than giving the power to the people. It is disappointing to hear though that they mentioned economic freedom only benefiting the wealthy. Although they might benefit more quickly and have higher profits than others; everyone still benefits from economic freedom. Just because someone benefits more than someone else doesn’t mean they are the only ones benefiting. It is important to acknowledge the fact that people who tend to be in the most impoverished areas of the world have less economic freedom than the more wealthy and economically free regions of the world.
