This video seems to be discussing the media bias of the news. Nowadays everything seems to be bad, wars, famines, droughts, hurricanes, you name it. Yet when looking at life as a whole we could not have been better off now than ever before. We have more food, more water, more resources to help needy people, and less wars. Our brains seem to be wired to absorb the bad news, and overlook the good; even if it out ways the bad. The technology we have now is improving and expanding life expectancy. Even though the middle class does seem to be shrinking that does not mean everyone is getting poorer, simply people are slowly moving into the higher income brackets.
