This video talked about tariffs and how both Joe Biden and Donald Trump are in favor. This might seem like a good thing, because both parties are for it, but tariffs are actually an extra tax on Americans. Everything becomes more expensive because of tariffs. Eventually, tariffs cause loss of jobs for many small companies and loss of trade. Without tariffs, we are free to trade high tech gadgets such as iPhones for avocados for a reasonable price. But if we enact tariffs and try to make our own avocados, they will end up tasting worse, costing more, and won't be in season all year round like they would have been with cheap trade.
