      1) Read the passage once all the way through. Then do the following annotations:

      a. Highlight Verbs/Verb Structures you know - identify the tense in your notes section (At least 5)

      b. Highlight words you do not know . Look them up with a dictionary and write them in your notes section (At least 5)

      Objective: Students will present a segment of news about BCS.

       

      Teams are as follows:

      1) Introduction, General Information about BCS (Introduce School, Location, etc.), Traffic in the area - Eduardo & Jose

      2) Weather in Fort Wayne & 2 other cities in Indiana - Yolanda & Violetta

      3) Fall Sports @ BCS - Teams, recent scores, etc. - Diego & Pedro

      4) Breaking News - Local & State - Emilio & Fabian

      5) Dear Annie....Advice Column - Carla & Esmeralda

      6) Upcoming Events at BCS, Fort Wayne - Yaneli & Dora

      7) Share a small devo and biblical thought to end for the segment - Anita & Inigo

      Instructions

      1. Each section should aim to be around 10-15 lines, at least. You can go longer.

      2. Record your segment (like a real news station); it will be played on due date.

      3. Each segment should include some editing (en español):

      1. Title of segment
      2. Pictures, images, anything to help enhance your segment
      3. Dress up professionally

      4. Each group will be graded on overall content ( also pronunciation) and video.

      5. Students will submit their dialogue/speaking portion for a grade as well.

      Dialogue Requirements:

      -Use Present Tense, Preterite, Imperfect, Present Perfect, and Subjunctive, at least once.

    • Una Conversación Proyecto

      Objective: Have a 15 minute conversation with a native Spanish speaker.

      1) Prepare 10-15 questions to ask the person you will interview.

                  a.Topics can include: Who they are, Where they are from, What they like to do, Likes/Dislikes,                    Daily routines, about their job, Family, Hobbies, Sports, etc. Be creative.

      2) You can do the conversation in person or online/facetime/seesaw/zoom. You must record the conversation.

      3) Conversation needs to last 15 minutes. The goal is to try and have an organic conversation and so it is okay to veer off topic. The goal is also to remain in Spanish the whole time.

      Final Recording DUE BY Monday, December 15,2025--> by class time

      You can upload a recording to your shared google folder, or Airdrop Video/Audio file.
