Chapter 1 Response

My speech craft role model is my pastor at my local church. I listen to him every Sunday morning, so he has been a good role model to me for the past several years. His sermons are typically extemporaneous, so they are prepared but not memorized, and he uses some small notes to remember what he is supposed to say. He does a great job with eye contact, engaging the audience with his clear voice as well. When it comes to the Bible however, he will use that as a manuscript and read directly from the passage. He occasionally will have a verse memorized as well, that he can recall and deliver without much thought.

I would agree, I love my pastor too! I really enjoy how he engages, it makes it more personal and easier to follow.

I agree, my pastor is also a very good role model, he always applies things that are relatable in life, he just always keeps it engaging.

I can eagerly agree with having your pastor as your speech model! Mine always shows his love unto the audience and wherever he goes. He also keeps great eye contact.

I agree with your response. I used my pastor as my role model as well. You had a lot of vocab and topics that we went over in class, great job Cruz!!
