Chapter 1 Response

My speech craft model are two guys that started a podcast called the Makeshift Project. I enjoy listening to them because they make the topics very energetic and exciting. They are both also very good at keeping my attention for the full length of the podcast. Although I don't necessarily see them because I am listening to it through my phone I am able to pick up on the gift they have for public speaking.

I love this example because it shows how speech can be just as impactful even when you cannot see the speaker. They can still keep your attention and they can speak in a way that shows confidence without an unsteady, shaky voice.

That's great and I agree, because even without seeing the speaker the way their voice comes across can have a huge impact on the reaction and engagement of the audience.

These guys are incredible public speakers when I watch them, I definitely agree with this take. Their videos are very entertaining and I can't skip past them when they show up in my feed.

This is a great example because you are giving credit to multiple people instead of just one person. This is also nice because you can literally just listen to them from your pocket!! Niece use of topics from class Miles!!

I also like to listen to energetic people! They set the mood with their energy and it keeps us attentive to what they have to say.
