My speech role model is my pastor, Dave Tilma, at Blackhawk church. Every Sunday morning I wake up actually excited to go to church because his preaching is one of the best I've ever heard. The way he engages with the audience and doesn't just drone on about one topic the whole time. I also love that he is good at applying his teachings to the real world, especially his own personal life. I learn a lot from the way he talks and how he doesn't just sit down and talk the whole time, he walks around making eye contact with the audience. He is inspiring and I thank him a lot for helping me learn about the Bible because of how the Holy Spirit moves in him.
I have never gotten the chance to hear him talk outside of the times he has spoken during chapel. However, when he spoke during chapel, I definitely picked up on these characteristics he portrays when he is speaking. This is a great speaking role model to have.
