1) My topic was about why we should be able to use phones in school and I landed on that topic for my opinion speech because I thought about how our school is basically banning phones and we are only allowed to have it out in the hallways and how Texas as a state completely banned phones as a result I started thinking of thoughts that would may persuade the audience to think that phones are useful for school environment.
2) I anticipate selecting topics by finding things that I am into like interests on different things or things that I have experienced throughout my life because these topics would interest me and make me have a little bit of knowledge before researching.
