I would personally agree with the findings of this research. It is hard enough to choose a topic to present, and with all of the information out there, it can definitely be hard to narrow down what is best for you and your specific topic. It can be very stressful trying to find information specific to what you need. To prevent or manage information anxiety, I start off by finding a topic that I personally know a good amount about, so that the research process isn't as stressful. Even if you don't know much about your topic, using databases instead of the entire internet to research your topic can also be helpful to narrow the scope. So while information overload can be stressful, there are ways to manage it.
