chapter 5 response

I believe that if you research something and you test it over and over again and you find it to be true, of course people will believe and oftentimes trust it. Research may say one thing, but that does not necessarily mean it is true for ALL people. No two people are the same. I believe that it can be difficult for students to research hard topics and take deep dives into learning about things that challenge their mind, but it is good for you mind to have those challenges sometimes; in addition, of course, it is fun. I used to have high anxiety when I would research a topic. With that being said, I was also five years younger than I am now and I had stage fright. Through practices and overcoming these fears, I grew out of it and now I love speaking to people and informing them about particular topics, well, I guess I would say I like it. But like I said by practicing and really knowing what your'e going to research, as well as trying to research a topic that interests you as much as it does the audience, maybe even more, can help you become a better speaker and researcher.

I love how you provided an example from your own life, and how you believe overcoming research anxiety revolves around just doing it and practicing it. Fantastic work!

I love your emphasis on practice. You're an example that it does not just come easy to everyone, but that anything can be worked at to improve!
