Bias in Support Material

I think depending on your agenda, bias can be helpful and is expected. For example, news anchors on CNN are going to use completely different statistics than FOX because of differing political views, and that would help support their agenda. Usually it is expected in politics to skew or have bias in one's support because it helps appeal to people that associate to that side of politics, or are undecided. I do think, however, that rarely bias is expected ad should be present in one's support.

I like your use of an example in your response! This made a lot of sense and I completely agree with you!

This is a great example. I love how it shows that even at the professional level, it is still difficult to avoid bias. I agree completely.

I agree and like this example, I wish the media was not so skewed and bias but it is the precedent that has been set. I also think that bias may be included in certain types of support and papers

I agree with you that politics makes bias seem like a normal part of spreading information, usually for a certain party's benefit. I also agree that bias shouldn't always be used within writing, especially academic writing.
