I agree that it can be mentally challenging to put together projects or even find good research topics, but I don't think one can say that their only anxiety comes from the news of having to start a research project. For example, for this survey we do not know if it was done on 10 students, 100 students, or a thousand. The survey also does not state if the students were all the same age or in the same grade, or even if the survey was taken from 1 school or 10 schools. Also, if students are struggling that bad, they should go to their teachers and/or professors for insight. For me, starting a new project is exciting because I love to organize slides and information as well as inform people on things I am passionate about or things that are important. I admit sometimes it can be stressful when you're hit with a deadline that does not give quite enough time, but then again with deadlines that are given too much time you can begin to let your mind wander and you will forget about it until the night before. So, in all reality, it can be stressful to research things or compose projects, but you just have to find your groove, find what works best for you in gathering that information and solidifying a topic.
