I agree with these findings, because when you have the entire internet at your fingertips to research anything you can think of, it can quickly become very overwhelming. I think some ways that you can combat this is to pick topics you are already somewhat familiar with, and to find topics that are not too complex for you. If a topic is more simplistic, it can be much easier to research, narrow down supporting points, and to combat the feeling of being overwhelmed.
