I believe the Power Points are actually really helpful when they are used correctly. The person using the slides has to make sure that they are the main position of the speech and not the screen. The screen is like an illustration of a picture book meaning it could be necessary, but other books have zero pictures. This is why I believe that PowerPoints are helpful, but not in all situations.
