I think some things that I could do is address the audience in a way that they know what I am doing is for the purpose of helping them, making each step clear and thorough, as to make it as simple and understandable as possible. I could also add a story that is applicable to the task at hand. I want to help them in the way that if they are ever in need of help with something my speech covers, they would think back and remember what I did to help them with said task.

Having the audience know that you are trying to help them is defiantly good and should be striven for in your speech.

What a great response. Making the speech seem simple and easy will help the audience to lock in for sure.

I liked how you talked about making your steps clear and thorough. I think that would be helpful as the audience.
