I see music artists play with form and genre all the time, and usually it works out for them. Obviously it's hard to make a song everyone will like, but playing with form or genre will definitely grab the attention of listeners. An artist that I know of that has done this a lot is Bjork. For some people Bjork's music is weird, but for some it's very unique and fun to listen to. My sister June listens to her more than I do, but from what I've heard it's obvious that Bjork has paved her own genre into the music industry.
It's true that music likes to break barriers of genre and form. I've never listened to Bjork's music before, but it sounds interesting. I'll have to try it sometime! Amazing job, Nora!
