Chapter 12 Response

I think form is something that can be more abstract but also there are certain guidelines to follow. In cinema I relate playing with form to Jordan Peele's film "Get Out". Jordan used what seemed like a classic love story and two people overcoming a somewhat unwelcoming family, and flipped into a mind bending horror picture. This attempt was certainly successful and the weight of the shift was certainly felt in the movie. I think that when executed well this playing with form can elevate a speech and make it stand out as more creative than the rest.

While I personally have not seen this movie, it does seem quite interesting. Perhaps, I should check it out.
