Chap. 13 Response

I have never done a celebratory speech but have heard a lot of them. The audience is always excited and cheerful when these speeches are given. Coach Meyer would always give us a celebratory speech whenever we won a soccer game. He would always remind us to stay humble but competitive. His speeches were short and simple; the speeches motivated the team and helped us stay focused the entire season.

That sounds like a lot of fun! It is always nice when the speeches are kept short but encouraging.

I liked how you talked about how the speeches were short, but inspirational. That is a very important aspect to staying engaged and listening to a good speech.

I like how you gave the perspective of a coach giving a celebratory speech. I kind of overlooked that type of speech, but it is true and necessary that they remind us to be humble.

Same here Pau! I personally have never done a celebratory speech but I have seen a lot of those speeches being given!
