Regarding the use of restaurants deemed as "fast food", and on the behalf of those who are obese, I petition for a law stating that fast food companies to either only produce healthy options or their consumers, or change the ingredients to benefit those purchasing from them. The fast food industry has allowed for the average consumer to access foods that do benefit the human body. Now, for those who cannot resist the temptations of fast food, they suffer the consequences. If my petition were to be successful and a law was to be created, obesity rates would slowly go down. Although there are other factors that play into obesity and how one becomes obese, I believe removing unhealthy options that are able to be found quickly and cheaply will lower the obesity rate for the US. If removing fast food's unhealthy options is too much of a change, I believe the price should be jacked up and should be deemed "overpriced", guiding consumers to choose the healthier options instead. Another solution could be limiting the days and availability of the unhealthy items. Why put the health of immature consumers into the hands of fast food restaurant owners instead of at least guiding consumers to healthier options, benefiting the consumer, the earth, and in the end the restaurant itself.

Okay this is honestly really good, but if the limiting days was a thing I personally would just go on the days it was available. I usually just eat fast food when I want to be unhealthy but this is a good point that some people can't resist the temptation.

Thank you RFK, this is a very interesting premise and would like to see how a not so wealthy individual would perform without the availability of cheap nutrients.

I love this idea. If people still want to continue to shovel down junk food daily then add a couple dollars to their total.
