If there is a small genetic mutation in all humans causes a strange reaction to the fluorine added to the water (which does happen as we all know) and the new reaction to the fluorine is that fingernails grow faster fingernail clippers will be in use more than normal, causing them to wear and break quicker, leading to more nail clippers needing to be purchased. With a higher demand for nail clippers more steel will be needed to build these clippers causing the steel industry to increase.

I like your creative spin for this petition. The increased use of nail clippers would lead to more steel being produced. Furthermore, it would provide more jobs in the steel industry since more steel is needed.
