With the recent growth of the internet and artificial intelligence, I see fit, due to the looming dangers of both and the economic set backs, to return to a time in society where no internet existed. The ban of the internet, AI, phones, and many other electronic devices would benefit the state of the economy drastically. First, people would have to meet people face to face if they wanted to talk. People would start meeting at places like coffee shops, bowling alleys, movie theaters, and many other cities more frequently. This would create a boost for companies providing services of this nature. Second, people would now resort to using more physical items, like paper and pencils. Companies producing these kinds of products would see massive profits as the demand would increase. Lastly, communicating across long distances would fall back into the hands of the post office. Mailing companies would see profits skyrocket as more and more people send mail. The ban of the internet and devices like phones would create a boost in the economy so large that it would be foolish to not take action on this petition.
