I think it is outright insanity to have minimum wages go all the way to at least $30 hourly. It is wild and dumb to set standards for legislation to limit the employers' by having them pay even more to workers. As much as it would sound nice to be paid that much hourly, it would exclude even more opportunities for people to get jobs, especially those in desperate need of their next check to help provide for the family. This would not only limit the workers' opportunities to have a job, it could even lead to less and less benefits for health care or auto care or something like that. I would still like to be paid that much, but not by sacrificing my health or auto care benefits. And the rent freeze is wild. Why would you stop the people offering the person a house a limit of how much they pay? That could lead to less homes offered, more people going out of business, and more people having to live on the streets. It could also lead to the destruction of these homes that people really need. They need to have a roof over their heads, but cannot anymore because people in legislation made it to where their landlords or whoever owns the house to go out of business, or destroy the home if not a whole neighborhood. People who are less fortunate not only have to live on the streets, but also cannot feed their family because they no longer have a job or couldn't get one because of the employers avoiding losses in income just to hire someone that isn't fully capable to satisfy all the employers needs. And how is this all ironic? The man who says he wants to help the people is having legislation make it more difficult for those same people to live and live under a roof and making everyone impoverished.
