During times of crisis there are more people unemployed. This can be seen in 2020, or during quarantine and COVID, unemployment rates were higher. In 2020, the unemployment rates for both adult men and women were averaged to around 13 percent, where a normal and efficient unemployment rate is around 4-5 percent. For teenagers ages 16-19, the unemployment rate was averaged to 33 percent, which is almost 7 times the natural unemployment rate.

Hey queen! Girl, you have done it again. Constantly raising the bar for us all and doing it flawlessly. I'd say I'm surprised, but I know who you are. I really enjoyed reading your post and learned more about how during times of crisis the unemployment rate goes up. To add to your claim, the percentage for ages 16-19 is so important because it shows how it hits those younger inexperienced workers harder than those more experienced.
