  1. He encourages people to examine secondary effects. Many say trade deficit is fine because we end with more products than we began with, but he argues that there is an advantage to self-sufficiency, and tariffs may not be the answer for this, but lower government spending certainly is.
  2. Deut. 15:6 says not to borrow but to lend, and He would build them up.

This is good. Deut 15:6 is such good advice that I feel like the whole world should hear....

I definitely agree. The US government should find some wiser ways of using our money because we are egregiously in debt.
