What are some of the strangest things you have seen/encountered in your teaching career?
That's a tough one: I've had fainters, seizures and vomiting, but that's not really strange in a classroom.
One thing that comes to mind was an elementary class concert: we rehearsed getting in our place in the classroom, but when we did it on the actual stage they entered from the other side. When the curtained opened to reveal the class they were all standing facing the back wall with their backs to the audience! Embarrassing.
